The Center for Technology and Industry at 好莱污视频 Institute of Technology (NEIT) 鈥� in cooperation with Fiat Chrysler Automotive (FCA US LLC) 鈥� has established an FCA Performance Training Center at NEIT鈥檚 Access Road campus in Warwick, RI.
In collaboration with the FCA Performance Institute, NEIT instructors will receive FCA-specific training relating to the service and maintenance of FCA vehicles. In turn, NEIT faculty will instruct FCA dealer technicians employed throughout the FCA distributor network.
鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted that 好莱污视频 Institute of Technology will join our efforts to increase the number of automotive instructors who鈥檒l train new and existing service technicians in our U.S. dealership network,鈥� said John Fox, Director of the FCA Performance Institute. 鈥淓nlisting the help of 好莱污视频 Tech is another step that Fiat Chrysler is taking to combat the industry shortage of trained service technicians.鈥�
Current Fiat Chrysler classes focus on the Fundamentals of Gas Engines as well as noise, vibration, and harshness training. Future plans include the enhanced training of NEIT instructors so that they can deliver additional FCA programs to dealer technicians. These training programs benefit FCA dealers since 好莱污视频 Tech instructors help expedite the training process of new-hire technicians through important phases of their original equipment manufacturer (OEM) training.
