We are currently accepting applications for Dual Enrollment in the 2025-2026 school year. The 2026-2027 application will be available in Summer 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What High School GPA is required to participate?

    Students must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.7 to be eligible.

  • What is the deadline to apply?

    Applications must be submitted no later than 5 weeks prior to the start of classes to ensure space in the program.

    Dual Enrollment is not available for Summer Intersession.

  • How do I apply for Dual Enrollment?

    New Students:

    • Create an account by entering your email, first and last name, and date of birth.
    • Check your email for a temporary PIN and enter it to continue.
    • Set a new password (this will be your permanent login, so keep it safe).
    • Once logged in, click “Start New Application” and then “Create Application.”
    • Complete all sections of the application before submitting.
        • You may submit your application without a current high school transcript.
        • However, a transcript must be provided before acceptance can be finalized. Upload your transcripts .

     

    Returning Students:

    • Returning students do not need to reapply; the Admissions Office will handle re-enrollment directly. Please contact Gwynne Millar at [email protected] or 401-780-4171.
  • Which courses are available?

    Dual Enrollment students are welcome to take any introductory courses, general education courses, or courses with no pre-requisites.

  • Can I transfer credits earned at NEIT?

    The transferability of a course is always up to the institution to which the student is transferring.
